Construction begins on Pendine's first Motorhome Park
In November 2018, Pendine Community Council were successful in obtaining a grant from the Welsh Government via the National Lottery Community Fund.
The construction works has now been able to get started following a lengthy delay due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The old Parry Thomas site will be the home of a Motorhome park hosting 10 spaces and basic amenities all year round.
This award has led to a facility which will provide a much needed income stream for the council, which we will invest in the community. Tourism is a key economic driver in and around this area and when completed the motorhome site will enhance the provision for tourism.
We know that many communities across Wales are facing increasing challenges as a result of COVID-19. Therefore, we are so grateful of this award from The National Lottery Community Fund, made possible thanks to money raised through The National Lottery. This award and the facility it is producing will make our community so much more sustainable.
