Are you between 15 and 26? Would you like to join Pendine Community Council to represent young people in our community?

Pendine Community Council would like to appoint two Community Youth Representatives.  As a Youth Representative on the council, you will see how the council and local government works.  This is your chance to make a difference in your community by getting involved and making your views and ideas known.

Are you willing to serve a term of one year from when you are appointed? You can speak on all matters before the Council and provide a view from your generation. You will not be able to vote, but you will be able to make your views known and you could influence decisions made.

You MUST be:

• aged over 15 but under the age of 26

• considered by the Community Council to be a suitable person to represent the interests of young people under 26 who live, work or receive education or training in the community of Pendine

Are you interested? Then please write to our Clerk on no more than one side of A4, saying why you would like to be a Community Youth Representative and what you could bring to that position; together with the names and addresses of two character references.

Applications must be received by the Clerk no later than Friday, 8th November 2019. The appointments will be made by the Council at its meeting in November 2019.
